Fully automated system with high-density storage and retrieval

Kimberly-Clark Australia wanted to change its distribution strategy to provide more flexibility in marketing and, simultaneously, bring greater efficiencies to its distribution network to reduce the cost of inventory and handling, as well as address a shortage of skilled labour.

Kimberly-Clark commissioned Dexion to design and implement a fully automated product tracking and picking system featuring high-density storage and retrieval.
The system is in operation at Kimberly-Clark’s National Distribution Centre in Erskine Park, Sydney.
